M’s Room

Our oldest daughter was allowed to choose the room she wanted when we moved house, and she decided she wanted the smaller room because it has this little ladder that leads up to a tiny gallery area with a hidden door. She now keeps all of her painting supplies there, and it has become her little art studio.

The bed in her room is this beautiful wooden canopy bed with horses on top, which was actually my own bed when I was her age. Luckily, we managed to keep it because my father stored it in a storage unit all these years.

The wallpaper in her room is inspired by the Disney movie 101 Dalmatians: Wallpaper

And we recently bought these paper flowers on Amazon and put them up in her room — she absolutely loves them: paper flowers

I also found this beautiful dollhouse, which she loves playing with: doll house

Our girls love books — or rather, they love when we read to them — as they are still very young and can’t read by themselves yet.

We also have this beautiful built-in bookshelf where we store all of their books, and they love choosing their bedtime story from the shelf and bringing the books to bed for us to read to them.
